 | The study aims at selecting two model nano-composite systems. One system shall contain a low volume fraction of CNT as reinforcement (few %); the other one shall contain a high volume fraction, 30% being the target. Three different processes with a) ceramic matrix and b) copper matrix have been developed and samples have been manufactured. The enhancement of properties and its improvement potential brought by presence of CNT with respect to the bulk matrix has been evaluated. |
