| CNT-CFRP radiator ready for testing |

In the frame of the COPE activity, the two demonstrators have been successfully manufactured and are currently undergoing thermal tests. |
The CFRP radiator exists in two versions, one is made from pure CFRP the other one additionally contains carbon nano tubes (CNT). Both are made from ultra high modulus (UHM) pitch based carbon fibres. As can be seen in the image, the demonstrator is a CFRP/Al-sandwich panel.
Both panels are going to be tested in a thermal vacuum chamber for thermal perfomance measurement purposes.
