HPS has recently been awarded a further Carbon Nanotube (CNT) study. The aim is to further develop structural materials for space applications by doping Carbon Nanotubes. The focus is on CNT reinforced CFRP's, i.e. CNT-CFRP's.

HPS won against 14 competitors concerning the ESA-ITT "Nanotube Reinforced Structural Materials for Spacecraft Applications". This is the 6th ESA project performed by HPS. The overall budget of these 6 projects adds up to 2 million Euros.

The project started on July 1st. More information will become available soon and will be published in the "projects"domain.
