| HPS at German SatCom Convention | |
 | HPS was exhibitor, speaker and participant at the German National Satellite Communications Convention (zweite nationale Fachkonferenz Satellitenkommunikation in Deutschland) hosted by the German Aerospace Center (DLR). The exhibition included our Ka-band DGR (dual gridded reflector / polarisation selective reflector, PSR). |
The convention consisted of more than 200 space and astronautics experts comming from industry, research instituions, national / European agencies and German Ministry of Defence. The agenda contained roughly 50 lectures and presentations as well as two panel discussions for information and exchange purposes.
One of the key topics was the German satellite H2Sat (Heinrich Hertz mission, launch date aimed for 2015) which is currently in phase A. HPS is applying for the provision (i.e. mechanical and thermal design and analysis as well as manufacturing) of two non-conventional Ka-band reflectors for the the multiple spot beam antenna "Medusa" by Astrium GmbH, Germany.
